Super Junior’s Heechul to Enlist in the Army on September 1st!

Heechul Doesn't Want to Have any Noisy Event.

A member of Super Junior, Heechul, will join the army on September 1st. 

Heechul will enter the army training center in Nonsan, Choongnam to receive basic military training for four weeks then he will be serving as a public service worker for 23 months afterwards. 

Much interest of domestic and foreign media and fans has been focused on Heechul who has been gaining global popularity as a member of Super Junior. However, any official event will not be held for Heechul on the day of his enlistment since he doesn’t want to have any noisy event.  

Also, as Heechul has been performing with Super Junior’s 5th album ‘Mr. Simple’ and  working as a TV show host for ‘MBC Gold Fishery-Radio Star,’ ‘KBS Declaration of Freedom Saturday-Secret,’ etc. he has been much loved. Therefore, he is scheduled to continue working before joining the army. 

Meanwhile, Super Junior will release the B version of the 5th album ‘Mr. Simple’ which includes new song, ‘SUPERMAN,’ on August 22nd (for today) and continue performing with the 5th album title song, ‘Mr. Simple’ and ‘SUPERMAN.’

“조용히 입대하고 싶다” 밝혀

슈퍼주니어 멤버 김희철이 오는 9월 1일 입대한다.

김희철은 9월 1일 충남 논산 육군훈련소에 입소해 4주간의 기초군사훈련을 받은 후, 23개월 동안 공익근무요원으로 복무할 예정이다.

슈퍼주니어가 글로벌한 인기를 누리고 있는 만큼, 이번 김희철의 입대 현장에는 국내외 언론과 팬들의 관심이 집중되겠지만, 조용히 입대하고 싶다는 본인의 의사에 따라 당일 현장에서 별도의 행사는 진행되지 않는다.

또한 김희철은 슈퍼주니어 정규 5집 ‘Mr.Simple’ 활동을 비롯해 MBC ‘황금어장-라디오스타’, KBS ‘자유선언 토요일-시크릿’ 등의 MC로도 활약하며 많은 사랑을 받고 있는 만큼, 입대 전까지 활동을 지속할 계획이다.

한편, 슈퍼주니어는 22일(오늘) 신곡 ‘SUPERMAN’ 음원 공개와 더불어 정규 5집 ‘Mr.Simple’의 B버전을 새롭게 출시하며, 5집 타이틀 곡 ‘Mr.Simple’과 ‘SUPERMAN’으로 활발한 활동을 이어나갈 예정이다.

Heechul said, "It hasn't been long since Super Junior's 5th album "Mr. Simple", was released and the promotions are going so well. At first, I really wanted to delay the enlistment, but I think it will be better to do it when it feels right as I already want this. I admit that the process I took to arrive at this decision was not an easy one."

Kim Heechul will be going to Chungnam Military Camp on the 1st of September and will be recieving basic military training for 4 weeks before serving as a Public Service Personnel for 23 months.
Heechul was involved in a tragic car accident in the summer of 2006 and had to undergo a major surgery in which he had 8 metal rods put into his leg. That is why he will only be serving as a Public Service Personnel.

REALLY UNPREDICTABLE PERSON.....

I think it'll be better if they go to army together, all members, so ELFs will hurt at one time, just once, if not, every year ELFs must hurt. Then if it's real, SJ will be be back soon and together. But it'll be hard for KYUHYUN :( Without his hyung ...

I know we can just waiting, but we are know that SJ just an ordinary person who can't only be a young person, their ages must increasing years to years and they must have their own family. 

You can agree with me or not, but still that choice in uri oppa side, we are just their ELFs who will wait as long as their short journey end :D
